On August 7, 11 official maps ended with a score of 13-0. That’s an impressive record!
The previous day with the most one-sided victories was July 27, when teams played five such maps.
September is still a long way off, but we’re already closing in on the annual record for CS2.
It’s known that all 11 maps were played as part of the qualifiers for the Esports World Cup 2026. Thanks to this record, the number of shutouts in 2026 already stands at 115, which is only 14 fewer than in 2025.
The LAN qualifiers for the Esports World Cup 2026 in CS2 are taking place August 7–9 in Paris, France. Sixty-four teams are participating in the qualifier, only four of which will receive invites to the main stage of the championship.
