9z should be incredibly proud of its performance at the Major. Not many people believed it could make it to the playoffs, but it did. Yet another South American team has demonstrated the depth and strength of their region. This squad embodies exactly what North America has been waiting for.

Earlier, 9z Team advanced to the playoffs of the IEM Cologne Major 2026 after defeating The MongolZ. In the quarterfinals, they faced FURIA but lost 1–2 and finished the tournament in 5th–8th place, earning $45,000 in prize money.
