Counter-Strike 2 players are undergoing doping tests during the 2026 Esports World Cup. Representatives from several teams have spoken about the post-match testing.

After Team Falcons advanced to the tournament’s playoffs, sniper Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov was sent for a doping test. Earlier, K27 rifler Timur “clax” Sabirov and The MongolZ captain Garidmagnay “bLitz” Byambasuren reported undergoing the same procedure. Players from G2 Esports and BetBoom Team rifler Pavel “s1ren” Ogloblin also underwent doping tests.

Earlier, FURIA coach Sydney “sidde” Masedu spoke about the living conditions for participants in the 2026 Esports World Cup for Counter-Strike 2. According to him, the tournament organizers have accommodated the teams’ coaches in a hotel separate from the players.
