Registration has opened for the Esports World Cup 2026 qualifiers across eight disciplines

The organizers of the Esports World Cup 2026 have announced the start of registration for the Last Chance Qualifier series, where the final spots in the championship will be decided. The qualifiers will take place in Paris from July 5 to August 10 and will cover eight disciplines.
The final spots for the 2026 Esports World Cup will be up for grabs in eight disciplines: Counter-Strike 2, EA Sports FC, Rocket League, TEKKEN 8, chess, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves, and Street Fighter 6.
The qualifiers will determine 37 individual participants and six clubs that will earn the right to compete in the main tournament. In Counter-Strike 2, four teams will advance to the championship, while one club each will qualify in Rocket League and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
Last Chance Qualifier schedule:
- Street Fighter 6 (July 5) — 4 slots;
- Chess (July 9–11) — 14 slots;
- EA Sports FC (July 24–26) — 6 slots in the Play-In stage;
- TEKKEN 8 (July 31–August 2) — 4 slots;
- Rocket League (July 31–August 2) — 1 slot;
- FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves (August 4–6) — 4 slots;
- Counter-Strike 2 (August 7–9) — 4 slots;
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 (August 8–10) — 1 slot.
Earlier, the organizers of the Esports World Cup 2026 released a list of teams invited to the Counter-Strike 2 tournament. Among them were Team Vitality, Team Spirit, Team Falcons, and 25 other teams.
