sFade8 on magic’s CS2 roster: “We don’t care about our opponents’ nicknames—we just want to play.”

Vitaly “sFade8” Marushka, captain of the magic CS2 roster, in an interview at FISSURE PLAYGROUND 3 — CS shared his thoughts after the victory over PARIVISION, discussed the roster’s mindset at the championship, and commented on the matchup against Jami “Jame” Ali.

On his conversation with AW after the victory over PARIVISION

I told AW after the match that making a comeback was easy. He just needs to believe in himself and stay calmer after getting kills. He gets too emotional when, for example, he gets the first frag in a round against PARIVISION. Of course, everyone here wanted to win, but personally, I stayed calm throughout the entire match and told the guys that it would be easy—we just needed to see it through to the end.

On the team’s mindset at the event

We don’t dwell on who we’ve already beaten. First and foremost, we’re still a young team, and we don’t care about our opponents’ nicknames—we just want to play. To qualify for major championships, the roster needs experience, and above all, we need more official matches. I want to say a huge thank you to all my teammates and our fans. It’s really nice that you support us and cheer us on—it helps us incredibly much.

On the matchup against Jame

For me, this was my second match against Jame. To be honest, during our first encounter, my team was still quite weak, and we simply had nothing to counter PARIVISION with. Since then, we’ve worked hard to fix our mistakes, we’ve gotten stronger, and we continue to improve. I believe in the guys. We’re trying to win and use all the experience we’ve gained to get stronger with every game.
