FURIA coach Sydney “sidde” Masedo, in an interview at FISSURE PLAYGROUND 3 — CS, commented on the team’s advancement to the playoffs, spoke about the players’ condition, and discussed the upcoming match against G2 Esports.

On advancing to the playoffs

So far, we’re doing well. We played well enough to make it to the playoffs. Yesterday we had a very tough match against Legacy, but after that we had a good team discussion. I feel like we’re in a good position to make it all the way to the finals here. We just need to show our best on the server.

On the players’ illnesses

Something like this happens at every tournament. But overall, everyone is feeling pretty good right now. Between yesterday and today, some of us have managed to recover. So everyone is feeling good, 100%.

On the quarterfinal against G2 Esports

We’re well prepared because we recently played against G2 Esports at another tournament. And it was a tough match. We knew what we needed to work on during our preparation. So now we’re focused on executing our game plan today.
