Spinx ahead of the BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 semifinals: “You have to be useful to the team at all times.”

Esports players Lotan “Spinx” Giladi of MOUZ and Jacob “jabbi” Naigard of Astralis shared their expectations for their teams’ upcoming match in the tournament during an interview at BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2.
jabbi: The match against paiN Gaming turned out to be very chaotic, especially on Mirage and Inferno. We discussed everything with the team and decided exactly what we need to do today to have a calmer and easier match. Mainly because of the chaos, I didn’t perform at my best back then, and overall, I wasn’t in top form and was a bit scattered at the time. A highly structured gameplay system definitely doesn’t suit me very well. We tried a lot of different things with the guys because we were going through a tough period, and in a situation like that, it’s better to try to find a way out and make some changes rather than just sit idly by. Now, it seems to me, we’re all on the same page and have managed to find a style that works for everyone, so all that’s left is to keep improving it.
Spinx: With the newcomers joining the team, I’m now playing a more passive role than I used to. That’s fine with me. I think this role suits me; I just need to get everything back in my head and return to my previous level. In a way, with all these lineup changes, I’ve become the most experienced teammate, so I need to adapt quickly and help the guys out—and so far, everything’s going great for us. Of course, it’s not that simple and depends a lot on the map and specific positions, but I need to rediscover my game: to understand when to play more passively and when, on the contrary, to look for open space. I need to be useful to the team at all times: whether it’s a well-executed clutch or something else.
MOUZ is currently facing off against Astralis in the quarterfinals of the BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 playoffs. At the time of this publication, Lotan “Spinx” Giladi’s team is trailing 5–10 on the first map, Ancient.
