BIG rifler Johannes “tabseN” Vodarz commented on the team balance on Anubis in an interview at the XSE Pro League 2026, summarized the match against Ninjas in Pyjamas, and shared his expectations for the decisive match to secure a spot in the playoffs.

On the balance of power on Anubis

You can win a lot of rounds on attack if you have really good setups, good game tempo, good calls, and a good understanding of the map. But, of course, this map favors the defense. The defense has good tools. You can apply a lot of pressure, jump onto the “water,” and zone effectively with grenades. It’s definitely easier to defend on this map.

On the match against Ninjas in Pyjamas

We definitely needed to win more rounds on Inferno. But they played well, too. They have very strong individual players—even though they probably hadn’t played this map in a long time. We can’t underestimate them. We won their pick. They won ours. The first two maps were absolutely even.

On the decisive match to advance to the playoffs

It’s definitely going to be a tough match. We need to step up individually, in our communication, as a team, and mentally. We need to step it up to secure our spot in the playoffs. Of course, with the support of this amazing crowd, it’s like we have six players on our server. We need to make sure everything goes well on our end so we can play even more matches here. We really enjoy playing here, and we know we’re capable of it. We’ll see tomorrow. We’ll do everything we can to win.
