Team Falcons and FaZe Clan have advanced to the CS2 playoffs of the 2026 Esports World Cup

Team Falcons and FaZe Clan secured victories in their group stage matches at the 2026 Esports World Cup.

In the first match, Team Falcons faced off against Astralis. Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov’s team defeated their opponents 13-7 on Ancient and then prevailed 13-11 on Dust2. In a parallel match, FaZe Clan defeated Legacy 2–0 (13–6 on Cache and 13–8 on Mirage).

As a result, Team Falcons and FaZe Clan advanced to the Esports World Cup 2026 playoffs, while Team Falcons/Astralis and Legacy dropped to the lower bracket of Group B.

The 2026 Esports World Cup for Counter-Strike 2 is taking place from August 12 to 23 in France. The tournament features 32 teams, only half of which will advance to the playoffs following the group stage. The total prize pool for the championship is $2,000,000.
