After a hiatus, Sergey “hally” Shavaev is returning to the position of head coach and project lead for Team Spirit CS2. In addition to building the team’s gameplay, his responsibilities will include strategic planning, monitoring team dynamics, and scheduling tournaments. Sergey will coach alongside Dmitry “S0tF1k” Forostyanko, who will continue working directly with the roster, and captain Boris “magixx” Vorobyov. This setup maximizes the strengths of both the staff and the players.
Preparation for the Major under the leadership of the revamped coaching staff went smoothly, and the debut was supposed to take place in Cologne, but for now, neither Sergey nor Dmitry will be able to be with the team. Unfortunately, S0tF1k did not receive a Schengen visa, and hally was urgently hospitalized today. We hope he will get better soon and be able to join the roster during the tournament; in the meantime, both coaches will be working remotely.
Cheer on Team Spirit!

On April 2 of this year, Team Spirit representatives announced that Sergey “hally” Shavaev would be temporarily stepping back from the team due to health reasons. He was replaced as head coach of the main roster by Dmitry “S0tF1k” Forostyanko. As a result, hally missed Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2026 and PGL Astana 2026.
