Team Spirit remained in 1st place, while Team Vitality dropped to 5th place — August VRS ranking update
Today, August 3, Valve released an updated VRS—this version of the ranking will be used to determine invitations to ESL Pro League Season 24, IEM Beijing 2026, FISSURE Playground 3, and the Thunderpick World Championship 2026.
Currently, Team Spirit still holds the No. 1 spot, followed by Team Falcons. MOUZ has climbed from 6th to 3rd place. 9z Team is now in 4th place, and Team Vitality rounds out the top five.

Earlier, on July 29, Valve released another update for Counter-Strike 2, which introduced new Ranked Series IEM Cologne Major 2026 stickers, made changes to several community-created maps, and fixed several bugs related to the game and the VACnet system.
