Team Vitality and Team Spirit have advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2026 Esports World Cup in CS2

Team Vitality and Team Spirit secured victories in the 2026 Esports World Cup playoffs.

In the first match, Team Vitality defeated FaZe Clan 2-0 (13-11 on Dust2 and 13-6 on Cache). In a parallel match, B8 Esports faced off against Team Spirit. Danil “donk” Kryshkovets’ team won both maps of the series—13–9 on Dust2 and 13–9 on Mirage.

As a result, Team Vitality and Team Spirit advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2026 Esports World Cup, while FaZe Clan and B8 Esports finished the tournament in 9th–16th place.

The 2026 Esports World Cup for Counter-Strike 2 is taking place from August 12 to 23 in Paris. The tournament features 32 teams, half of which advanced to the playoffs following the group stage. The prize pool for this LAN event is $2,000,000.
