The former Gentle Mates CS2 roster will compete in upcoming tournaments under the Iberian Soul banner
The esports players who previously represented the Gentle Mates Counter-Strike 2 roster have decided to continue playing together under the Iberian Soul banner.
This marks the second time the Spanish team has been without an organization. Iberian Soul first appeared in January 2025—under this name, former KOI players competed in online tournaments and qualifiers before joining Gentle Mates in late August.

Yesterday, Gentle Mates announced their departure from CS2—all of the team’s players are now free agents. Iberian Soul is currently competing in the LAN qualifiers for the Esports World Cup 2026, where they are one step away from advancing to the playoffs.
