The new competitive season on FACEIT starts on August 5
On August 5, the ninth competitive season will begin on the FACEIT platform, during which each player will play ten placement matches to determine their new ranking. The news was announced on the platform’s official page on X.
The eighth season will end on August 4 at 12:59 p.m. Central European Summer Time (CEST).
Season 9 will begin on August 5 with a soft reset and ten placement matches, the results of which will determine your new rank.
Your activity in Season 8 will be one of the key factors in the upcoming reset, so every match you play now will help minimize its impact.

Earlier today, FACEIT updated its map pool in anticipation of the new Premier season. Cache is now available to play, replacing Overpass.
