The Roman Imperium Cup IX tournament has been announced with a flexible prize pool of up to 12,000 euros
Tournament operator KKM has announced the ninth season of the Roman Imperium Cup Counter-Strike 2 championship. The international competition has been officially designated as VRS Tier-2.
Team registration for the open qualifiers begins on August 16 at 8:00 p.m. Moscow time on the organizer’s official website. The championship consists of a group stage and a playoff stage. The organizers have tied the total prize pool directly to the number of confirmed rosters in the bracket.
Prize distribution scale for the Roman Imperium Cup IX:
- 16 teams — €12,000;
- 12–15 teams — €9,000;
- 8–11 teams — €6,000.
The ninth season of the Roman Imperium Cup will be held entirely in a LAN format from October 7 to 10, 2026. All matches will take place at the SAW Esports Arena, located in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal.
