tN1R on the match against G2 at the IEM Cologne Major: “It was just a crazy game.”

Team Spirit rifler Andrei “tN1R” Tatarinovich shared his thoughts in an interview at the IEM Cologne Major 2026 following a grueling match against G2 Esports in the event’s quarterfinals.
On the match against G2 Esports
It was just a crazy game. It felt like we were playing CS:GO because there were so many rounds, incredible clutch plays, and intense moments. It really was an incredible match.
On magixx’s clutch
After magixx pulled off that 1v4 clutch in the “kitchen”—which was also insane—there was no way we could lose that match.
On the technical timeout
During the technical break, we took a little breather and relaxed; it was helpful for us to collect ourselves and catch our breath.
Earlier today, Team Spirit defeated G2 Esports in the quarterfinals of the IEM Cologne Major 2026 and advanced to the tournament’s semifinals. The match proved challenging for both teams: on Overpass, the “Dragons” lost 9–13, but closed out Dust2 with a score of 16–14, and Mirage became the deciding map. On the final map, G2 Esports rifler Nikita “HeavyGod” Martynenko was kicked from the game right in the middle of a round, after which a technical timeout was called. In the end, Boris “magixx” Vorobyov’s team won the final map after four overtime rounds, 25–22.
