torzsi on MOUZ: “The win over Spirit will give us confidence.”
MOUZ sniper Adam “torzsi” Torzsás, in an interview at ESL Pro League Season 24, reflected on his team’s victory over Team Spirit on the Nuke map and also spoke about the the “Mice” have with pistol rounds and shared his expectations for the match against Team Vitality in the tournament final.
On the victory over Team Spirit on Nuke
I think the turning point for us was losing the clutch at 10-10. We didn’t give up, instantly put that round behind us, and kept our winning mindset. Both Spinx and PR felt very comfortable and played amazingly. Despite a rough game on Mirage, Aldrich absolutely carried us with 27 kills.
On our struggles with pistol rounds
I think we need to spend more time playing deathmatch. Things will definitely get better in the future. We just need to land headshots in pistol rounds.
On the final against Team Vitality
We’re a new team right now—I don’t think we’ll be able to repeat the 2025 finals. Besides, a win over Spirit will give us confidence. Everyone just needs to get some good rest and maintain our current mindset. In the last match, we didn’t give up and fought until the very end. I think we have a decent chance of beating Vitality.
Yesterday, MOUZ defeated Team Spirit in the semifinals of ESL Pro League Season 24 with a 2-1 map score (13-7 on Dust2, 5-13 on Mirage, and 13-11 on Nuke). Today, the “Mice” will face off against Team Vitality for the LAN tournament championship title and a $295,000 prize pool.
