Dota 2’s peak concurrent players over the past 24 hours reached 1,019,704. According to SteamDB, this is the highest figure since October 2022, when 1,042,939 players were online.
The increase in concurrent players came amid the release of the new “Trove of Terror” treasure chest, which Valve launched on October 7. It includes 17 sets, including arcana for Tidehunter and Drow Ranger. Opening the chests also rewards players with new skins for the Reaper and Roshan.
The previous peak in concurrent players was recorded after the grand final of The International 2026. At that time, the number of players online in Dota 2 just exceeded one million, reaching 1,003,965.
