xertioN on Team Spirit in the BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 final: “They felt the pressure much more than we did.”

In an interview at BLAST Bounty Summer 2026, the MOUZ players commented on their victory in the tournament’s grand final against Team Spirit.
MOUZ coach Dennis “sycrone” Nielsen praised the efforts of the German squad’s players:
The guys have worked really hard over the past few weeks—and over the past few years, to be honest. We can finally taste victory, and we still have plenty of goals ahead of us.
For his part, the team’s marksman, Adam “torzsi” Torzash, explained what exactly helped MOUZ snatch the victory from Team Spirit:
I think it was a combination of two factors. xertioN is a great IGL; he knows how to manage the players properly. But at the same time, I also put in a lot of work to get back in shape.
MOUZ rifler Adrian “xelex” Vincze described his mindset during the match:
I’m really happy, to be honest. As I said yesterday in an interview, I try to stay focused every round and not think about the future or the past. What’s done is done—there’s nothing we can do about it now anyway. And yes, I’m incredibly happy that we beat Team Spirit—I don’t think anyone expected that. In my opinion, all the guys played great; it was a very intense match.
MOUZ captain Dorian “xertioN” Berman stated that, in his opinion, Team Spirit was under a lot of pressure in the tournament’s grand final:
I think they felt a lot more pressure than we did today, since they had something to lose. We’re a new team, and I think we played great today, while it was tough for them. I’m very happy that we took first place.
In addition, xertioN commented on the matches played on Ancient and Nuke:
The start on Ancient was incredible. But we lost a series of key rounds on the attack and lost a bit of confidence in each other. However, we managed to stage a comeback on Nuke.
Lotan “Spinx” Giladi thanked his teammates:
The Grand Final was just incredible for me—I really enjoyed it. I want to thank my teammates for helping me perform so well; I couldn’t have done it without them.
Oldrich “PR” Novy talked about how he’s handling his new roles in the game:
Last night I wasn’t feeling great, since the opponent was punishing me in positions that were new to me. Now I feel like I’ve been reborn—I’m happy.
Earlier today, MOUZ defeated Team Spirit 3-1 in maps in the BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 grand final. The German squad took Dust2 (13–8) and Mirage (13–4) but lost on Ancient (9–13). The decisive Nuke went to MOUZ (13–10). MOUZ rifler Lotan “Spinx” Giladi was named the tournament’s MVP.
