xfl0ud on FUT Esports: “I didn’t expect people to talk so much here.”

FUT Esports rifler Yasin “xfl0ud” Koch, in an interview at BLAST Bounty Summer 2026, summed up the match against 3DMAX, discussed his role on the new team, and reflected on his adjustment to the squad.

On the loss to 3DMAX

We were ready for our opponent. We prepared well for them, but I think we fell short in terms of communication. We often misunderstood each other, and sometimes we may not have communicated at all when it was necessary. Or there was unnecessary chatter when people were trying to help. I think in many situations we acted in a disjointed manner, in different pairs.

On his role in communication

Most of the time during rounds, Krabeni does the talking. He likes to direct the players’ actions in great detail—you could say he micromanages them. So in most cases, I don’t need to be the second caller. But now I’m trying to offer a different perspective on the game—maybe during rounds, or perhaps before a match or before practice. I say, “Look, we have this; we can do it this way, or we can try it that way.” I try to offer ideas, and so far, everyone likes them. During the game, perhaps on defense, I’m entrusted with certain positions and the responsibility for them. But, to be honest, I didn’t expect there to be so much discussion here. Practically every player is constantly offering their own ideas. So, I think in the future I’ll likely step in as a second voice during moments when the pressure is especially high. But, as I said, Krabeni talks a lot; he likes to control the game, and, in my opinion, he does a pretty good job of it. So the team doesn’t need a full-fledged second voice—rather, it needs someone who can take the initiative and make calls when it’s really necessary.

On Adjusting to FUT Esports

I played pretty well in the first match. I felt comfortable, and the team played well, too. But in this match, my own performance didn’t go as planned, even though I was doing everything I was supposed to do as part of the team. I didn’t make any unnecessary pushes and didn’t try to rack up frags at any cost. If I’m holding a Desert Eagle, I’ll go first. I’ll never use my teammate as bait. But in that match, my individual performance wasn’t at its best. Besides, I haven’t fully adapted to the team yet. Communication, voice calls, the rounds we play, the decisions we make during the game—all of this is completely different from what I was used to in my previous teams. That’s why sometimes we might miss our timing or even lose individual rounds because of me. I think I’ll play better in the future, and that will have a positive impact on the team’s results.
