XinSai Esports apologized to the community for the issues at the XSE Pro League 2026 and fired its chief administrator

Tournament organizer XinSai Esports published a post on its X page, addressing the community and commenting on the issues that arose during the group stage of the XSE Pro League 2026.
Dear Counter-Strike fans!
On the first day of competition at the XSE Pro League 2026, we encountered a number of technical issues for which we were not adequately prepared. We take full responsibility for how these issues affected the teams and your viewing experience.
By the second day, we had resolved all previously identified issues, but a power outage interrupted the final match. We thank the viewers for their patience. The remaining three days of the group stage went relatively smoothly.
We’d also like to address a few topics that have been discussed online.
- Reports that CS2 was missing on some computers were due to an SSD issue, which we subsequently resolved.
- We acknowledge that insufficient preparation led to communication breakdowns with the players and unnecessary delays. Our team is working to improve these processes.
- One player’s hacked Steam account has been fully restored, and their inventory was not compromised. We cleaned the infected computers and reinstalled their operating systems. The chief administrator responsible for the incident has been fired.
- The tables we used were not large enough to comfortably accommodate players with their arms stretched far forward—this issue has now been resolved.
- The poor quality of the English-language broadcast was caused by technical issues that were identified and resolved on the first day.
- The screenshots circulating online containing information about volunteer teams were not published by XinSai Esports. Our staff works under long-term employment contracts, and volunteers assist only with minor aspects of the tournament.
XinSai Esports appreciates all the feedback we’ve received and remains committed to earning your trust. We will continue to work hard to ensure the best possible conditions for the playoffs and to conclude the championship on a high note.
The XSE Pro League 2026 is taking place from July 1 to 12 in China. A total of 16 teams are competing in the tournament, eight of which advanced to the playoffs following the group stage. The prize pool for the LAN event is $1,000,000.
