Commentator Gleb “y0nd” Vagnov responded ironically to Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov’s comments about Team Liquid’s performance:
I don’t understand why Mael doesn’t just say:
“Everything at Team Liquid is *** [bad]”
Caster Rustam “Adekvat” Mavlyutov suggested that major roster shakeups are in store for the “Falcons”:
Things went really badly for the Falcons at TI. Apparently, this is the best this roster can do. The veterans will retire, the sheikhs will buy up talented young players, and the tag will shine again. I’d like to believe that’s how it’ll play out, GG
Commentator Dmitry “Mortalles” Arzhilovsky called Team Falcons’ elimination a natural outcome of the team’s performance:
I wasn’t rooting for anyone in the last match, but it was clear that this Falcons roster had run out of steam. Or maybe ideas. And making the Top 8 isn’t a sensation—it’s the logical outcome of this season.
Host Dmitry “CrystalMay” Korchevinin bid farewell to the era of the current Team Falcons roster:
Team Falcons’ last game with this legendary lineup—thanks for my childhood (and old age).
Commentator and analyst Vladislav “BLACKARXANGEL” Ivashchenko highlighted the key moment of the match and commented on Team Falcons’ elimination:
Malrin’s SK (which included Nask) JUMPED INTO THE CHRONO at just the right moment
And they were sent home—Team Liquid moves on!
Earlier, Team Falcons support Andreas “Cr1t-” Frank Nielsen said in an interview after being eliminated from The International 2026 that he had most likely played his last TI: “For me, this might be my last The International; I’m glad I got to be here.”
