YEKINDAR: “Natus Vincere is facing some challenges right now.”
In an interview at BLAST Open Porto 2026, FURIA players shared their thoughts on the teams at the tournament, including Natus Vincere.
FURIA rifler Marek “YEKINDAR” Galinskis stated that Natus Vincere is not in top form at the moment:
Natus Vincere is facing some challenges right now, but it’s still a great team.
In addition, YEKINDAR assessed the overall level of the teams at this point:
Over the course of the season, especially toward the end, you realize that the gap between Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams narrows so much that you have to treat every match as if it were potentially your last in the tournament.
For his part, the team’s sniper, Danil “molodoy” Golubenko, also spoke about their opponents at BLAST Open Porto 2026:
It’s tough to face strong opponents at this tournament. They know how to play Counter-Strike properly, so we always run the risk of losing.
Earlier, FURIA defeated M80 in the group stage of the BLAST Open Porto 2026. Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo’s team closed out the series with a 2-0 map score, securing victories on Cache (16-13) and Dust2 (13-5). As a result, FURIA secured a spot in the tournament’s playoffs.
