1w Team, LGD Gaming, and Team Yandex defeated Virtus.pro, OG, and IC x Insanity, respectively, on the second day of competition at the 2026 Esports World Cup in Dota 2.

LGD Gaming took control of the first map against OG and won easily. The second match was more evenly contested, but in the end, OG couldn’t handle the pressure and lost.

Team Yandex easily defeated IC x Insanity on the first map in 27 minutes. The second match was also completely controlled by Team Yandex.

1w Team dominated Virtus.pro on the first map, winning by a wide margin. The second match was also completely controlled by 1w Team.

Thus, 1w Team, LGD Gaming, and Team Yandex lead Group D, while Virtus.pro, OG, and IC x Insanity occupy the bottom spots.

The 2026 Dota 2 Esports World Cup is taking place from July 7 to 19 in Paris. Team Spirit received a direct invite as the defending champion; 12 other teams qualified based on their ESL Pro Tour rankings; and the remaining 11 participants were determined through regional qualifiers.
