PlayTime representatives announced on social media that three active players on the Dota 2 roster will be taking a break from competition.
Previously, the team failed to qualify for DreamLeague Season 30, after which Andrei “bottega” Kopytko and Mateusz “KJ” Santos Jungleš Dinis left the team—they had been with the squad for less than two weeks. Coach Filipe “Astini” Astini Ribeiro was also unable to continue with the club.
In the summer, the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) launched an investigation into PT players Oswaldo Gonzalo “DarkMago” Herrera Martinez and Juan David “Vintage” Angulo Nicho. The suspects and offlaner Frank “Frank” Arias left the team. In September, it was announced that Vintage had been banned for life from competition, while DarkMago received a five-year ban.
