Accell ahead of the second map of the BLAST final: “On the first map, we had the upper hand in the draft, but I don’t feel that way now.”

Team Yandex coach Alexander “Accell” Litvinenko spoke about the drafts in the Grand Final against LGD Gaming in an interview at BLAST Slam VII.
On the drafts in the Grand Final
On the first map, we had the upper hand in the draft, but now I don’t think so. I’d say it’s 50-50, though they have the advantage in the early game. It depends on the specific match [whether we have the outdraft or not].
On the winning factor in the second map
I wouldn’t say our victory depends on any specific hero. In my opinion, the burden is shared among everyone. It comes down to the pressure points and how we handle them. There aren’t that many of those points this time, so it won’t be easy.
On the most important moment of the second map
Mainly, we need to keep an eye on what happens with Slardar—how good TaiLung is on that hero.
The current score in the final match of BLAST Slam VII is 1-0 in favor of Team Yandex. The winner will take home $300,000 for the players and $100,000 for the club. This marks the first time since 2024 that a South American team has reached the grand final of a Tier 1 tournament.
