Accell on BLAST Slam VIII: “I didn’t do anything; the team carried every game.”
In an interview at BLAST Slam VIII, the players and coach of Team Yandex spoke about their victory in the grand final of the championship held in Malta.
A message to the fans
ATF: Thank you for coming. I hope you’ll always support me and my team. I’m obviously going to win every tournament. I hope to break Team Falcons’ record, and we’ll win ten times as many as they did.
A message to the team
Saksa: “Without them, I wouldn’t be here, and they’ve had to carry my ass through a lot of tough moments, so I’m grateful to them.”
On who he would dedicate this victory to
Malady: I’d dedicate it to us—to myself and my team—because this is our second victory with this lineup. I’m really happy for myself, the guys, and especially for Ammar.
On the coach’s contribution
Accell: I didn’t do anything—the team carried every game, regardless of the draft. Ammar proved once again that he was the best player on Team Falcons.
On how it feels to win
CHIRA_JUNIOR: I feel great. It’s really awesome to beat the three-time champion of The International.
Team Yandex defeated Team Spirit 3–1 in the BLAST Slam VIII Grand Final. The team earned $270,000.
