ACE Esports has announced the Asgard Championship Dota 2 tournament

ACE Esports has announced the Asgard Championship, a new Dota 2 tournament. The prize pool will total $20,000.

The group stage will take place from July 28 to August 7. The playoffs will be held from August 8 to 12, with the grand final scheduled for August 12. Twelve teams will participate in the tournament: Team Spirit Academy, Ilbirs Esports, Team BLD, Nemiga Gaming, Team Lynx, Rune Eaters Arise, Team Syntax, Level UP, Dandelions, Team Jenz, FTS, and Team Noir.

Earlier, the organizers of the European Pro League announced plans to hold a series of EPL Masters tournaments for Dota 2 in 2026—a total of four championships are planned, with a combined prize pool of $400,000.
