Hey there! We’ve finally made it to the BLAST 7 playoffs—four days of intense matches at LAN.
There are three series today; I’ll be working on the last one on the official stream, but for now, let’s watch:
Aurora vs. Team Yandex (bo3)
Full rosters—what a treat. Aurora is fired up for the playoffs, while Yandex is in an unclear state, having clearly “messed up” the group stage with a few weak performances. I’m sure Aurora won’t bring any new draft strategies to the playoffs; they’ll stick to their default. It’s more likely that Yandex will adapt and pull off something interesting. The battle for tempo will be fierce from the get-go. I’m expecting quick, back-and-forth maps lasting about half an hour each and an epic decider, where I’ll still pick Yandex as the favorite. Individually, they’re in excellent shape right now. 2-1 Yandex
Falcons - Liquid (bo3)
The Falcons with Suma1l—yeah, very interesting, but no. At most, one map; a confident win for Liquid. Otherwise, what’s the point of all this?
I’m heading to the match against LGD—more on that later! <...>
The final stage of BLAST Slam VII is taking place at the tournament operator’s studio in the Danish capital. The six remaining teams will compete for the main portion of the $1 million prize pool. Three matches will be played today.
