Former professional player and streamer Andrei “Afoninje” Afonin has compiled a tier list of the Esports World Cup 2026 participants following the elimination of the top eight teams at the end of the group stage.
Afoninje’s Tier List for EWC 2026
- “S” Tier: PARIVISION, Team Yandex, Nigma Galaxy.
- “A” Tier: 1w Team, BetBoom Team, Aurora Gaming, Team Spirit, Team Falcons.
- Tier “B”: Team Liquid, PlayTime, Vici Gaming, LGD Gaming.
- “C” Tier: Rune Eaters, Virtus.pro, MOUZ.
- Division “D”: Xtreme Gaming.
Today marks the start of the survival stage of the Dota 2 tournament at the Esports World Cup 2026; four teams out of the twelve participants will advance to the playoffs. The final stage will take place from July 16 to 19.
