The prize pool for The International 2026 has reached $2,965,836 two days into the tournament.
The prize pool for The International 2026 has surpassed the prize pools for the 2024 and 2025 tournaments, and it is only $414,620 short of the record set before the Battle Pass was discontinued.
Valve initially contributes $1,600,000 to The International’s prize pool, with the remainder coming from sales of support packs. Last year, the developers raised the percentage allocated to the prize pool from 25% to 30%—this year, it has remained at the same level.
