Ahilles commented on the temporary suspension of a PlayTime player and coach from the 2026 Esports World Cup in Dota 2

Former esports coach Timur “Ahilles” Kulmukhambetov commented on his personal Telegram channel on ESIC’s decision to temporarily suspend Oswaldo Gonzalo “DarkMago” Errera Martinez and Juan David “Vintage” Angulo Nicho from participating in tournaments, including the Esports World Cup 2026.

On the suspension of DarkMago and Vintage
In the end, the final decision was made.
DarkMago and their coach were disqualified for 322.
I don’t know how they proved it was specifically those two. Are the others supposedly clean?
If you look at Play Time’s performance in online tournaments like the 1win Series, you’ll realize that the rabbit hole there goes much deeper than it seems.
And if you dig even deeper, you can even unearth the roster of the former Heroic team—back when they were playing with Batyuk :)))
Huge sums were bet on their losses back then.
About the ESIC’s temporary decision
What am I getting at?
They got off easy.
Most likely, Darkmago did what Solo did back in the day. He took all the blame.
In the future, Darkmago will receive a lifetime cut and support from his brothers for his brave act.
What’s the moral of all this?
Greed—it was the downfall of these guys.
These players aren’t poor. They weren’t starving. They had pretty solid careers in Dota.
But the thirst for easy money was stronger.
Maybe the coach got in on it too. Anyway, if PGL or Valve are interested in the 322 Mafia, you can DM me.
We’ll take a couple more teams out of the tournament this way
Earlier, it was reported that the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) had temporarily suspended DarkMago and Vintage from PlayTime on suspicion of violating anti-corruption rules at the Esports World Cup 2026—the investigation is still ongoing.
