Blitz on his career: “I don’t have many years left in the game, and I just want to savor it.”
Team Liquid coach William “Blitz” Lee spoke about his feelings toward Dota 2 in an interview at The International 2026.
We were talking about how two years have passed since we all competed on this stage. I got emotional because tOfu said, “Guys, I’m proud of how we made it here,” and all that. It means a lot to me. You know, when you win The International, you think life will just keep going the same way, and it was a good reminder for me that this game isn’t a right—it’s a privilege—and I hope everyone remembers that and respects it. I was sure we’d keep performing well and remain the best team in history, but life really hits you hard. I don’t have many years left to play, and I just want to soak it all in and appreciate it for what it’s worth.
