Blitz on Nisha: “You can say as much as you want that he was the one carrying us—and you’d be absolutely right.”
Team Liquid coach William “Blitz” Lee took to X to comment on Michal “Nisha” Jankowski’s decision to take a break from the pro scene.
I took this photo the night we lost TI. We had a huge fight back then. Nisha won’t read any of this anyway, but I’m writing this more for the community. I’ll always love this guy. You can say as much as you want that he was the one carrying us—and you’d be absolutely right. I’m glad we managed to win the biggest tournament together, my friend.
It makes me tear up that he joined us weighing around 65 kg, and then ended up almost as big as me… He’s not on social media, so he won’t even be able to deny the fact that he’s much weaker than me.
Nisha took a break from his professional career after The International 2026, where Team Liquid finished in 5th–6th place. According to our information, Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak will be Michal’s long-term replacement. At BLAST SLAM VIII, Ye “MidOne” Naizheng will play for Team Liquid.
