Collapse: “I’ve noticed that I have a certain ‘buff’ at EWC tournaments.”

Team Spirit offlaner Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov, in an interview before the match against MOUZ in the group stage of the Esports World Cup 2026, spoke about the team’s roster and commented on his personal form.
On whether Team Spirit could have won BLAST Slam VII if they hadn’t faced Team Yandex in the last-chance matches
I don’t think so; we could have just lost to someone else—it’s all a matter of chance. If we’d faced the tournament winner too early… The same thing happened to Team Falcons at The International 2025: we lost to them, and they went on to win the tournament. I’m not sure we could have won TI; it’s the same with BLAST.
On the team’s new roster
Great, I’d say. I just want to say: great. I’m not sure what will happen because this is the first game, but I think we’re in good shape right now.
On my personal form
I’ve noticed that I have a certain “buff” at EWC tournaments, maybe starting with the first one. [Do you feel it, or are you judging by the results?] I’m judging by the results, but I also feel something in the air. I feel a certain boost and know I can win. I’m playing better; sometimes I can win matches on my own. It’s a strange feeling.
Earlier, Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov talked about nutrition at boot camp, assessed the roles of Milan “MiLAN” Kozomara and Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov at Team Spirit, and also shared his thoughts on the series against Nigma Galaxy in the qualifiers for The International 2026.
