Collapse on major Dota 2 events: “I miss them, but I’m fine with things as they are now.”

Team Spirit offlaner Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov spoke to Hotspawn about the current meta and events in Dota 2.
On the meta with long matches
I don’t think about how long a game lasts. You can always tell whether it feels short or long—especially when it’s short, like when the enemies are pushing quickly. Right now, I’m fine with it; it works for me. If I have good networth in the game, I can do something. If my hero becomes useless—the game gets boring.
On “The Dark Carnival”
I’d be happier if they’d introduced a Battle Pass, but it’s fine as it is now, since there’s an event. I miss some events, like “Aganim’s Labyrinth,” “New Moon,” and others. I miss them, but it’s fine for now. The event makes the game more interesting to play. I want to get cosmetic items, gifts—something you can actually earn, not just play and boost my MMR. I want to do something else. And then there are the mini-games—they’re a lot of fun to play.
About the offline details that viewers miss
Maybe about the lane. People sometimes don’t understand how the game is going at this stage. They might misunderstand why I lost the lane or why I didn’t win it—because of the heroes. They don’t know the matchups—what this lane is good for, what the plan is. And they probably misunderstand hero picks as well. For example, why was I given this hero, or why don’t I have Blink? Things like that.
