Team Falcons support Andreas “Cr1t-” Frank Nielsen, in an interview following their elimination from The International 2026, discussed the level of play at the tournament and shared his thoughts on the competition.
I think it’s obvious that all eight teams in the playoffs are capable of beating each other, and we had two close series that we, unfortunately, lost. In the end, we didn’t play our best.
Yes, three years have passed—that’s a long time, with many memories. We’ve had mixed results, but we achieved what we wanted last year. We were hoping to defend our title this year, but it was a tough tournament for us. Everyone tried their best, but we just couldn’t win. We’ll keep moving forward, and maybe you’ll see us at future tournaments—and there will be another The International next year.
It’s always great here. The last time I was here, it was something special. For me, this might be my last The International; I’m glad I got to be here. It’s always cool to be in China, but fans all over the world support us. Being at The International is something special, and I’ll miss it. I’ve played in a lot of Intels, and it’s been a real pleasure.
Team Falcons lost to Team Liquid in the first round of the lower bracket at The International 2026 and finished in 7th–8th place, earning $129,507. Team Spirit and PARIVISION (TEAM VISION) are facing off right now.
