Cysne on TaiLung: “It’s a shame that he’ll end his life without ever fully knowing what he could have become.”

Former Edge manager Mateusz “Cysne” Cysne commented on his personal X page about the ban imposed on Santiago Gustavo “TaiLung” Olivio Agüero from PGL tournaments.
Although I’m glad that one corrupt match-fixer was caught and punished, I feel so sad for Dota 2 in South America, a place where I’ve worked for almost my entire professional life...
I also feel very sad for TaiLung. To be born with such incredible talent and, at 17, to see that whole bright future crumble. Don’t get me wrong—I agree that “322” deserves a lifetime ban, and I firmly believe he should also be banned from tournaments organized by other promoters. Unfortunately, he’ll have to do something else and watch as his natural gift goes to waste.
Being the best in the world at anything is a rare thing... It’s a shame that he’ll end his career without ever fully realizing who he could have become.
LGD Gaming will compete with Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen at The International 2026. The revamped roster’s first match will take place on August 13 at 5:00 a.m. Moscow time as part of the opening round of the group stage of the year’s biggest tournament.
