Nigma Galaxy offlaner Cedric “Davai” Dekmin, in an interview following their victory over L1GA TEAM in the group stage of the 2026 Esports World Cup, discussed the reasons behind the team’s strong performance and shared his thoughts on the hero Lycan.

On Lycan

He’s a decent hero, especially when the opponent picks Grimstroke and Clockwerk—then he’s very strong.

On whether the Necronomicon should be brought back into the game

I love Necronomicon; they removed that item right after I switched to the third position. I qualified for a DPC tournament playing Tusk with the Necronomicon—it was really great. When the Necronomicon warriors activated Tag Team, it was incredible; I have so many fond memories of that.

On the reason behind Nigma Galaxy’s improved performance

I think with lorenof and SumaiL, we’ve gained a lot of energy. We’ve changed gears, so to speak. It really helps—not just because they’re strong players, but because they bring confidence and an aura that lets us play our game better. It lets us focus on ourselves.

On the pressure on the team

We feel good; we’re here to win. It’s ambitious, but I think we have a chance to win tournaments.
