Hey, everyone! We just finished the group stage a moment ago. As for the group stage: it went okay. On the first day, we stumbled a bit with the draft and some in-game decisions during our match against OG. We could have played better—the game might have gone our way—but nonetheless, we ended up with a 1-1 split. After that, we won all our matches, learned from our mistakes, drafted well, and played well—we got ourselves into, let’s say, top form.
As for who we expect to face in the playoffs. I’d expect to see a team that picks five heroes and plays against our five heroes. It could be Aurora, it could be Spirit—it could be any other team that hasn’t been eliminated from the tournament yet. Cheer for us, and tune in. Bye!
Team Yandex finished the group stage of the 2026 Esports World Cup in Dota 2 with a map record of 9:1. The team will now advance to the playoffs, with their next match scheduled for July 17; their opponent has not yet been determined.
