Dota 2 Update from August 12, 2026: Aspect of Oscilla of the Crimson Witness effect
On the morning of August 12, the Dota 2 developers released a minor update that made changes to some files.
List of Changes
- The file containing The International 2026 background styles in the game menu has been updated.
- Changes were made to the file containing the Arcane Curse effect for Silencer’s cosmetic item, Aspect of Oscilla of the Crimson Witness.
- Files related to in-game voice lines for TI 2026 participants have been added for the Chinese client.
The update size is 40.3 MB.
The “Aspect of Oscilla of the Crimson Witness” is contained in the “Treasure of the Crimson Witness 2026”—it will be awarded to randomly selected attendees of The International 2026 each time first blood is drawn.
