On the night of June 19, the developers released a minor update that added lines of code to Dota 2 related to electronic passes for spectators at The International 2026 in Shanghai.
The update size was 75.5 MB. The client version was changed to 6,812, but was soon corrected to 6,811.
Earlier, Valve restricted the ability to watch matches with an average rating above 8,500 via friends to stop automated data collection on players. Later that same day, the developers removed the ability to watch such matches via DotaTV as well.
