Dota 2 Update from September 26, 2026: Localization
On the night of September 25–26, a minor update was released for Dota 2. In this update, the developers made technical changes to the lobby launch and added localization updates, including a Russian-language notification about the end of fantasy leagues and predictions for The International 2026.
List of Changes
- Translations of the notification regarding the conclusion of The International 2026 Fantasy and Predictions have been added in several languages. In the Russian version: “The International 2026 Fantasy and Predictions have ended. Claim your earned rewards as soon as possible!”
- Updated the Finnish translation of the ranking confidence explanation, cosmetic item descriptions, and older Ability Draft update notes.
- In the Brazilian Portuguese translation, the name of the desert landscape has been changed.
- A nonce has been added to the lobby launch and LAN server readiness messages.
Earlier, on September 25, another minor update was released for Dota 2, which added a notification about the end of The International 2026 fantasy and prediction modes, as well as technical changes to the MegaMeepo ability.
