Dota 2 Update from September 9, 2026: The “Quartero’s Curiosities” and Dota Plus Fall Seasons
Late on the evening of September 9, a Dota 2 update was released, with which the developers launched the “Quartero’s Curiosities” and Dota Plus fall seasons, as well as updated guild rewards and Undying cosmetics.
List of Changes
- The “Quartero’s Curiosities” fall season has begun, featuring new sets for Clockwerk, Treant Protector, and Windranger. The event will run until December 4, 2026.
- The Dota Plus Fall Season has begun and will also end on December 4, 2026.
- Added a continuation of the Quartero story: new dialogues, voice acting, and character portraits.
- The interface for seasonal rewards and the Quortero story has been updated.
- Three graffiti images in the guild seasonal rewards have been replaced.
- The chat wheel lines for Platinum guild rank have been updated: “I can’t believe what we’re seeing. What just happened?”, “Lived to the end, died a hero,” and “3, 2, 1, aaaadios.”
- Added models, effects, and ability icons for the Direstone’s Corruption set in Undying.
- Localization has been updated for several languages, including Russian.
The update size was 371.7 MB.
The previous Dota 2 update was released on the night of September 9. A warning message has appeared on the custom game page: if all selected servers are busy, the match will be hosted on one of the participants’ computers.
