Pipsqueak+4 player Marcel “Ekki” Golovienko shared his excitement on his personal X page after the team qualified for the 2026 Esports World Cup in Dota 2 through the Western Europe closed qualifiers.
We fought our way up from the lower bracket to the main tournament. Holy shit, I still can’t believe it! But I’m actually going to the Esports World Cup for the first time in my life.

Earlier, professional player Marcel “Ekki” Golovienko summed up his performance for Team Liquid as a stand-in at PGL Wallachia Season 8. The team finished 4th in the tournament and earned $80,000.
