
Tournament organizer EPL on X has announced the EPL Masters III Dota 2 tournament. Twenty teams will compete for a $100,000 prize pool.
The championship will take place in three stages. The play-in stage will be held October 12–16. Twelve teams will be divided into two groups of six. They will play in a round-robin format, and the top four teams from each group will advance.
The group stage will run from October 17 to 24. The eight teams from the play-in stage will be joined by four invited teams. The teams will be divided into two groups of six, and matches will be played in a round-robin format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs.
The playoffs are scheduled for October 25–29. The four teams from the group stage and the four invited participants will compete in a double-elimination bracket. All tournament matches will be played in a best-of-three (bo3) format, while the grand final will be a best-of-five (bo5).
Natus Vincere won the first two seasons of the EPL Masters. In the final of the first season, Taras “gotthejuice” Linnikov’s team defeated Level UP in a sweep, and in the second season, they defeated Klim Sani4 by the same score.
