Every participating team has arrived in Shanghai for The International 2026
The Dota 2 development team announced on the game’s official social media channels that every team participating in The International 2026 has arrived at the venue in Shanghai.
Despite the cancellation of flights to Shanghai, the teams managed to arrive on time at the venue for the year’s biggest tournament with their full rosters, with the exception of LGD Gaming, which was forced to replace its midlaner with Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen.
The group stage of The International 2026 will begin on August 13 in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China. Earlier, the Dota 2 developers released the schedule for the first day of the year’s main tournament—it will begin at 5:00 a.m. Moscow time.
