Execration has withdrawn from Games of the Future 2026 in Dota 2

PlayTime defeated Execration in the decisive round of the Games of the Future 2026 Dota 2 playoffs.
The match ended with a score of 2-1. PlayTime dominated the first map, but Execration managed to stage a comeback and secure the first point in the series. The second game started off the same way, but this time PT managed to win. In the match point, the South American team overwhelmed their opponent with their pace.
As a result, Execration exits the tournament in 9th–12th place, while PlayTime advances to the quarterfinals, where they will face GLYPH tomorrow at 08:00 Moscow time.
Games of the Future 2026 for Dota 2 is taking place from July 31 to August 5 in the capital of Kazakhstan. Sixteen teams are competing for the tournament’s total prize pool of $1,000,000, with the winner set to receive $350,000.
