Team Falcons, Rune Eaters, and BetBoom Team defeated Xtreme Gaming, Poor Rangers, and GamerLegion, respectively, on the final day of the group stage of the 2026 Esports World Cup in Dota 2.

The first map between BetBoom Team and GamerLegion lasted 67 minutes and ended with BB securing victory in a crucial team fight. BetBoom Team dominated the second match.

Poor Rangers started off dominating the first map against Rune Eaters, but thanks to several won team fights, RE pulled ahead and secured the victory. The second match started evenly, but thanks to smart map movements, Rune Eaters built up their lead and secured the win.

Team Falcons crushed Xtreme Gaming on the first map, not giving the Chinese team a single minute of the lead. During the second match, the teams constantly traded the lead, and it was unclear who would win until the very last moment, but in the end, Team Falcons pulled ahead and secured the victory.

Thus, Team Falcons secures first place in Group A, while BetBoom Team, Rune Eaters, and Xtreme Gaming occupy second, third, and fourth places, respectively, and GamerLegion and Poor Rangers are eliminated from the competition.

The Esports World Cup 2026 for Dota 2 is taking place from July 7 to 19 in Paris. Team Spirit received a direct invite as the winner of the previous edition; 12 teams qualified for the tournament based on their ESL Pro Tour rankings; and another 11 teams qualified through regional qualifiers.
