GamerLegion has been eliminated from 1win Essence II in Dota 2

OG defeated GamerLegion in the first round of the 1win Essence II playoffs. The match ended with a score of 2-0.
Adam “343” Shah’s team emerged with a slight advantage based on their lane play on the first map. The team didn’t immediately manage to turn that advantage into a significant lead, but they ultimately opened the scoring in the series.
In the second game, neither side established a clear lead after the laning phase, but in the mid-game, OG took control of the situation, and soon the Filipino squad extended their economic lead to a point where they could push into the opponent’s base and destroy the barracks on all lanes, leading to their victory.
Thus, GL was eliminated from the competition, finishing in 7th–8th place. The team earned $2,500 in prize money.
1win Essence II is taking place online from July 30 to August 5, with the organizers offering a $200,000 prize pool—four times more than in the previous tournament of the series. So far, four teams have been eliminated from the competition—two following the group stage and two more in the first round of the playoffs.
